George Heriot’s School is one of the historic landmarks of the city of Edinburgh.
The Old Building of the School dates back to the 1630s, although in more recent years this has been supplemented by an attractive range of buildings which include a main school hall and gymnasium. Fine lawns surround the Lauriston campus site which also add to the historic atmosphere of the School. Across the city, at Goldenacre, the School also owns first-class grass playing fields and an excellent artificial sports pitch.
