Open Morning and visits

Seeing the school in action gives prospective parents and pupils a real feel for what Heriot's has to offer.

Open Morning and Visits

George Heriot’s Open Morning is held each year on the last Saturday in September.

In 2022 our Open Morning will be held on Saturday 24 September to which you and your family are welcome to attend. Doors will open from 9.45 am to 1.00 pm. Having been unable to host this event in-person for the last two years, we are delighted to be able to invite families onto the campus again (Government guidelines permitting) to get a real feel for the Heriot’s community and life within the school.

Further details regarding the Open Morning will be published on the website from the end of August. Should you wish to have a sneak preview in the meantime, please watch our Open Morning films produced over the last two years which can be found at the bottom of this page.

As well as our Open Morning, families are welcome to arrange individual visits to the school to see the school in action on a “normal” school day. Visits are available during term time and can be arranged through the Admissions Office. Please contact the Admissions Office to arrange a suitable appointment – contact details can be found here.
