The Heriot’s Centre for Sport and Exercise opened in March 2012 and since has been an excellent facility for the school and wider public.
Heriot’s pupils will always be the main user of the Heriot’s Centre for Sport and Exercise; however, when not required by the school, we offer our spaces to the Heriot’s community and wider public. Please see below what we have to offer and get in touch with any questions regarding the spaces available.

Friday 17.00-22.00
Weekends 9.00-22.00
Please note that the Sports Centre opening times will depend on confirmed bookings.
All our sessions are pre-booked and pre-paid and are priced per 1 hour=1 session. The capacity depends on activity. Equipment is not included. We do offer discounts for Youth Clubs and block bookings.

Badminton Court £8.40 per person/per hr
(17.8m x 7.9m, ~140 sqm) For general purpose dance and exercise such as Zumba, Pilates, Yoga and Ballet.
This also accommodates a full-size badminton court.

(97 sqm) Equipped with weight training and cardio equipment. Available for ‘Pay as you go’ costumers, Personal trainers who need a space for training or we can host groups for Fitness courses.
