The film gives a deliberately short flavour of everyday life in George Heriot’s School. It is open for anyone to watch and will remain on the website for several weeks. We hope it encourages you to want to get in touch with us.
The first section is an overview of Junior and Senior Schools; the second section covers pastoral care, admissions, finance and the Foundation.
Please get in touch should you have any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0131 221 6709.

If you would like to find out more about Heriot’s, families are invited to come for individual visits to see the school ‘in action’. While visits currently offer limited access to the School, they will give you a chance to see key areas, meet leadership and admissions staff and ask any questions you may have. The number of visit slots is currently limited due to restrictions. Every effort will be made to accommodate your visit, however we would be grateful for any flexibility you can offer.
Visitors are limited to a maximum of two people per visit (excluding under 12’s), will be required to wear masks and sanitise before and on arrival. If visitors have displayed any symptoms in the past 10 days, or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positively/is awaiting a test result, or have been contacted via Track & Trace, they are kindly asked to re-arrange their visit.
Please contact the Admissions Office to make arrangements for your visit.
Heriot’s is proud to welcome children from all walks of life. Means tested financial assistance is available to help with school fees, including fully-funded places for children who have lost a parent, through our Foundation.
