In December 2021, 50 pupils participated in a total of 76 exams. This is the largest attendance to date and all dancers passed with some of the best results ever achieved at Heriot’s.
The dancers are graded from Pass, Pass Plus, Commended, Highly Commended, Honours or Distinction.

On a yearly basis, the Highland Dancers take part in the United Kingdom Championships, International Festival, City of Edinburgh Annual, The Scottish School CCF Championship and exams.
