Junior School Activities Weeks
The Junior School runs three residential experiences for pupils.
P5
In P5 the children stay for three days at Lendrick Muir Residential Centre near Rumbling Bridge where they tackle Problem Solving activities Games and Challenges, all specially designed to strengthen relationships and enhance school based Personal and Social Development lessons.
P6
In P6 the yeargroup spend five nights at Dunolly House Activities Centre in Aberfeldy and experience a terrific programme of outdoor activities designed to give them the opportunity to work together on tackling physical challenges from climbing to rafting and on developing leadership skills and teamwork dynamics.
P7
In P7 the children travel to Holland for a six day programme that gives them the chance to experience a different European country and culture. There are strong links to the taught curriculum (eg a visit to Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam) but this is also a chance for the children to interact with each other well away from their regular surroundings.
