This has been a remarkable year in the Art and Design department. Yet, despite remote learning, at no time did the department sit still – pupils and staff alike. Usually in term 3 we would be exhibiting our Senior pupils’ art work and this year is no exception – the work is displayed on the walls for the pleasure of all pupils and staff but unfortunately, we cannot open to the public this year.

So, we decided to bring the work to you virtually. Using a digital platform Artsteps, we created our own gallery space and we have exhibited work from P3 all the way through to S6. All of our pupils have worked hard at home and in the classroom and we wanted to share work being produced in Art and Design in George Heriot’s School. We hope you enjoy the virtual tour and then later browse the exhibition at your leisure.
