Throughout the school year, George Heriot’s hosts events and individual visits for prospective parents.
Families are encouraged to arrange individual visits to see the school in action on a normal school day. Visits are available during term time and can be arranged by contacting the Admissions Office – contact details can be found here.
Our on campus events are popular and we welcome prospective parents into the school so you can feel the magic of an education at Heriot’s, speak to relevant departments, and ask any questions you may have.

Heriot’s annual Open Morning is for prospective parents of any year group to which you and your family are warmly welcomed. The day will consist of a Presentation in the School Hall, pupil or self-led tours of the campus and a wide range of activities, experiments and displays happening throughout the morning.
29 October 2026 | 9am – 11am
