Martha, P2, did some research into her great grandparents as part of the VE Day celebrations on Friday.
She created a display showing photos of all 8 of them in their military uniforms and a little bit of information about what they did during the war. As a result of her research and display, she initiated conversations with her grandparents, who retold some of their stories, and also heard stories from passersby, who were interested in her work and happy to share their tales and memories of VE Day.
