Silver Medal for Team Mouat
Many many congratulations to former pupil, Bruce Mouat (Class of 2012) and his team at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
After a gripping final against Sweden, Team Mouat took away a Silver Medal, the first medal for Team GB!
Definitely an Olympics to remember for Bruce.
The S3 curlers loved taking part in a ‘Meet and Beat the Olympians’ day last year at Murrayfield Ice Rink. Mrs Lydon, current Teacher of Mathematics and Teacher of Curling taught Bruce when he was at Heriot’s: “I am so proud of his achievement and feel honoured to have shared the ice with him on so many occasions!”
