David wins senior drumming event at CCF competition. Ryan wins junior drumming

The Scottish Schools’ CCF Competition was hosted by Fettes College Sunday 12^th June. There were first prizes in the solo drumming events for Drum Sergeant David Fairley and Ryan Shi. Heriot’s was second in the Band event. The full list of Heriot’s prize-winners was as follows:

Other schools taking part were Glenalmond, Erskine Stewarts Melville, Merchiston, Strathallan and Edinburgh Academy.

The next competition for the Pipe Band is the European Pipe Band Championship at Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 25 June.

The Development Pipe Band will be competing at the Edinburgh Championship at Edinburgh Academy on Sunday 19 June.
