Rachel and Development Band win at Watson’s competition.

Congratulations to the pipers and drummers on their success in the George Watson’s Band & Solo Competition held on Sunday 1st March. Rachel Fairley was the winner of the 18 & Under drumming event for the second year running. In the Junior Band event, the Heriot’s Development Band was awarded first place, a remarkable achievement for a group which included many Junior School pupils. Heriot’s prize winners were as follows:
