On 22 November, our P1 students had a visit from Allan, from Allan Magic Road Safety Magic Show. Excitement was rising before they even entered the Chapel, as they could hear Happy by Pharrell Williams booming from inside. After taking their seats they were lucky to see a show full of magic tricks, lots of audience participation as well as learning about the very important message of how to cross a road safely.
They learned hand signals for the four most important points to remember when crossing the road: Stop, Look, Listen and Think! To learn about keeping safe around roads, Allan also told them about the different colours on traffic lights, where to cross the road safely and about using the Green Man.
They all had a fantastic afternoon – what a fun way to learn about how to stay safe when crossing roads!
