Magnus (P7) asked if he could make the P7 leavers’ hoodies a fundraising opportunity this year, for the charity Diabetes UK. He has managed to raise £530.50 through over 100 pupils purchasing the hoodies which feature the Diabetes UK logo on the sleeve.
Magnus sent a letter to P7 parents earlier this term:
‘I would like to ask for your help in raising money for Diabetes UK. This charity is important to me as they have helped me and my family since I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in November 2019. They provide lots of information and support to help children understand this illness. They are always researching new ways to help people with diabetes and I hope they might find a cure as I get older. They have lots of good information and I have even been in one of their magazines! With your help, we can make P7 a year to remember and raise money for charity.’ Magnus, Primary 7
