2023 CALENDAR COMPETITION

Let’s celebrate George Heriot’s history and the beautiful grounds at Lauriston Place.

We are going to be producing a 2023 Heriot’s Calendar and have decided to open the competition up to the Heriot’s community.

Please send your images to enquiries@george-heriots.com with ‘2023 Calendar Competition’ as the subject.

What type of images are we looking for?

• Images capturing the character of the school, campus and community
• Imagery to represent each season of the year (Jan – Dec)
• Un-predictable images that ‘say’ something, a less known place in the school
• Unexpected areas of the school
• Areas that are particularly visually striking
• Well composed imagery of a high quality (well lit) and high resolution

T&C’s

• This competition is open to all Senior pupils, Staff members and former pupils.
• All images will be stored and the panel will decide on imagery used for the 2023 Calendar after the closing date in May 2022.

Prizes

• Highly commended work will be displayed in a school exhibition next year
• Winning images will be featured in the Calendar
