A Royal Visit

HRH The Duke of Edinburgh visited the School in March 1961 and again in 1978, both very exciting occasions for pupils and staff.

His inspiring legacy will continue through the The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme, allowing pupils to learn life skills and self-awareness through the bronze, silver and gold awards. Normally, around 150 pupils enjoy completing these awards each year at Heriot’s.
