Heriot’s pupil, Jack, like many others, wanted to do something to help during lockdown. Being a fan of Edinburgh Zoo and the conservation work they do, the P5 pupil decided he wanted to raise money to help them feed their animals while nobody can visit.
Jack has taken on a challenge of running 3k every day in June, including his birthday, to raise money for the Zoo. So far he’s run 66 km and has raised £766 with another week to go. His last run will be on 30 June, where he will finish outside the zoo itself.
