Storm Jorge brought challenging conditions for this year’s Winter Mountaineering weekend. But the wind and heavy snow didn’t stop us having an amazing day climbing Zig Zags on Gearr Aonach in Glencoe. Well done to the 7 Heriot’s pupils involved, particularly the new recruits who showed great resilience and fortitude on their first taste of Scottish winter conditions – a real baptism of fire! Thanks as always to Andy Spink and his team at Hebridean Pursuits for keeping us safe in the hills.
