There are many options and opportunities to shine within sport at Heriot’s. Enthusiasts compete at regional, national and international levels, yet our aim is for pupils to discover sports and activities they genuinely enjoy.
The ‘Wall of Fame‘ features current pupils that have represented Scotland in various sports. Every day, pupils walk past the Wall of Fame in the sports centre – it is a daily reminder to be the best that you can be.
Each week we will be featuring one of the 8 new athletes to appear on the Wall of Fame. Here are the next two athletes to feature on the wall.
Corey had a fantastic performance at the Scottish Athletics in February in the O16 boys 1500m, winning a gold medal and a new championship record of 3:55.90. This is also a new Scottish U17 indoor record which previously stood since 1981.
Most recently, Corey ran 3000m in a time of 8:23.94 for a new Scottish indoor Record. This also places him inside the British Athletics Euro U18 standard (8:28). Well done Corey!
The third athlete to feature on the wall is Tallulah who is part of the Scottish Hockey U17 squad.
During the summer months, Tallulah travelled to Leeds to play in a match against England and also represented Scotland in the Futures Cup in St Albans. We look forward to seeing where she goes next.
