S3 biology pupils took part in the recent Biology Challenge hosted by The Royal Society of Biology. 23,695 students participated in the competition from 367 schools worldwide. George Heriot’s pupils came out with some superb results.
Gold Award: Joe McDermott and Luc Steel
Silver Award: Amelia Fergusson, Leo Monaco, Euan Richards, Lucy Anderson, Janica Chan, Joseph Sibley, Zoe Zanetta, Heather Monaghan, Bridget Samson and Elliot McColgan.
Bronze Award: Alexandra Burns-Cox, Angus Adams, Tom Henderson, Abby King, Tara Landsberger, Katie Stott, Angus Wright, Finlay Gillgrass, Robbie Goddard, Grace Adesanya.
In addition, a further 21 S3 pupils achieved enough points to be Highly Commended on their achievement and a further 15 S3 pupils were Commended.
