The team of Peter (S6RE), Robbie (S5LW), James (S4RE) and William (S2LE), finished 3rd in the Scottish Schools Dual Slalom Series. After a tough qualifying event against Edinburgh schools the team did not qualify for the finals but received a last-minute invitation to compete against 15 best teams from Scotland.
The team showed that they had something to prove at the finals, where they finished second in their pool leaving a tough semi-final against Watson’s. This was narrowly lost but a comprehensive win against Banchory Academy secured the Bronze Medal in the final. A real show of strength in adversity.
