S4 Winter Skills trip
A group of S4 pupils spent last weekend in snowy Glencoe completing a Winter Skills course run by Hebridean Pursuits. On the Saturday they battled against windy, snowy conditions on high ground and showed their true grit in typical Scottish Winter conditions. The weather was kinder on Sunday and they spent time learning how to walk in crampons, use an ice axe and dig a snowhole.
