Rory (S3) and Ga Yeon (S2) first at Glasgow Highland Club.
Congratulations to the pipers and drummers who took part in the Glasgow Highland Club Competition held at Hutchesons’ Grammar School on Sunday 25 February. In the solo events there were first places for Rory (S3) in intermediate piping and Ga Yeon (S2) in junior drumming. Noah (S1) was runner-up in junior piping and there were third prizes for Magnus (S3) (junior drumming) and Dylan (S5) (senior drumming).
Band success came from our Novice Juvenile Band winning first prize in the intermediate event. In the senior band competition, Heriot’s was runner-up to winners Dollar Academy.
Very well done to all who took part.
