S2 pupil Nicholas Hendrie was selected to compete in the U14 Scottish Saltires Water Polo team in the British Inter Regional Championships held in Birmingham last weekend.
Nicholas has played water polo for several years and was invited to train with the regional development squad in Stirling earlier this year. We were delighted to hear about his selection to represent Scotland, due to his great commitment to the sport, training in Edinburgh and Stirling on a weekly basis.
In the competition , the team did well, winning all but one of their games. The boys were ranked 7th in their category and were excited to have gained experience competing in a National Squad.
Congratulations to team members and to Nicholas for all his hard work and dedication this term.
