Kids Love Clothes is an Edinburgh based charity which helps local families by providing good quality used children’s clothing in gift bundles to those who struggle to afford to buy suitable clothing for their own children. On Tuesday 3 December the Junior School will welcome Julie Diver from Kids Love Clothes who will explain how the charity works in a special assembly.
Following the assembly, on Friday 06 December, we will be collecting donations of good quality used children’s clothes and ‘as new’ toys and books to donate to Kids Love Clothes. They desperately need great quality warm winter clothing suitable for ages 2 – 12 (no baby clothes please). They would also be very happy to receive new clothes, especially underwear and socks. If you have anything you can offer to the charity please send it in to school with your child on Friday 6 December, where it will be collected from their classroom.

Charitable pursuits are part of who we are. ‘Distribute Chearfullie’ adorns the pocket of every blue blazer; compassion fills the hearts of our young people. Heriot’s exists only because of the charitable foundation at its core, which today remains central to our school ethos of distributing kindness and support.
