Congratulations to the pipers who played in the Scottish Schools CCF Quartet and Trio competition hosted by Edinburgh Academy on Friday 15th November. Heriot’s won the third and fourth prizes in the trio piping event. In the quartet event the Heriot’s pipers were awarded second and fifth prizes. The runner-up quartet was Christopher Happs, Bruce Gardner, Paul Christie and led by Pipe Major Brodie Watson-Massey.
Other schools competing were: Dollar Academy, Erskine Stewart’s Melville, Morrison’s Academy, High School of Dundee, Strathallan, Glenalmond, Loretto and Fettes College . Very well done to all who took part.
