Next term, Marie Curie will be linking with the Citizenship programme at George Heriot’s for the very first time and supporting lessons on loss awareness.
As an introduction, S6 pupils visited the hospice to help with their Christmas events for day patients – the pupils were fantastic at chatting to patients and singing Christmas songs.
Marie Curie staff commented:“Please extend our gratitude to your lovely pupils who visited the hospice yesterday. It was absolutely wonderful to have them engaging with our patients and it definitely brought a smile to their face!”
