We were delighted to catch up with Juliette (S2) who took part in a Scottish Opera production this year.
“I successfully auditioned for a part in the Scottish Opera production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ as part of the fairy chorus. I was one of Titania’s fairies and got to sing in many different numbers. This took place in the Theatre Royal in Glasgow and Festival Theatre in Edinburgh between October ’21 and March ’22 and was an amazing experience.
I was lucky enough to work with Dominic Hill, a well-known director and many of Scottish Opera’s emerging artists. I made lots of fantastic friends and have some unforgettable memories of my time there. I look forward to hopefully taking part in more Scottish Opera productions in the future as this was my first professional appearance on stage and I learnt a lot.”
