Anna Williamson, S3, won the Hamilton and Inches Sparkling Drawing Competition.
Anna submitted her ring design for the competition and as a result of winning, will be able to visit one of the Hamilton and Inches workshops to see her design be produced.
Her inspiration came from “the clean-cut, contemporary lines of modern architecture. I wanted to create a piece that expanded on the style of a traditional sterling silver ring while keeping an element of subtlety and wearability, so therefore I used layered bands that are cut and joined at irregular points. The piece is also adorned with 3 crystal or rose quartz stones to add some colour and a focal point to the design.”
