The Junior School marked Global Intergenerational Week with a series of thoughtful activities designed to build meaningful connections across generations.
Pupils created kindness cards to send to local care homes, distributing cheer well beyond the classroom. P5 also joined Heriot’s FPs in the Quiet Garden to plant summer bulbs, learning how to care for the garden while sharing stories about life as a Herioter, past and present.
These moments of kindness, conversation and shared experience highlighted the value of bringing generations together and showed our pupils how small acts can strengthen a sense of community.
