On Friday 20 September, CCF welcomed former pupil and Gladiators champion Major Finlay Anderson (2006), a remarkable individual with a background in military education and operations.
His powerful message centred around resilience, humility in victory, and the importance of facing challenges head-on.
Finlay shared how mental toughness is forged in moments of discomfort, and how true strength comes from being resilient under pressure. As someone who has thrived in both military and sporting arenas, he emphasised the importance of character—being humble in success and constantly striving to grow.
The valuable skills and lessons learned through the CCF, Finlay noted, are not just about discipline and leadership—they are about building a mindset that prepares you for life’s toughest moments.
