Elizabeth, P5, raised £1,200 for NHS Charities Together and Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charities.
Elizabeth felt compelled to do her part in raising vital funds for these charities after being inspired by her mother, and her mother’s colleagues’, efforts of raising money by virtually cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats and back in 7 days.
After being inspired by this, Elizabeth combined this challenge with the viral 2.6 challenge and set herself the target of cycling 26.2 miles in 3 days.
She successfully completed the challenge on Sunday and was delighted to have raised £1,200 for her chosen charities.
