In computing, projects are underway to take advantage of the new iDEA Awards, the digital Duke of Edinburgh scheme, to develop digital enterprise and employability skills. So far, George Heriot’s has an impressive number of participants and award winners:

Total number of iDEA badges: 5,501
A special mention to Euan Robinson, S3, who has been awarded two iDEA Special Achievements: Bronze Award Badge Champion and Silver Award Silver Star. According to iDEA website “The Silver Star Achievement is awarded to validate that you have become an official iDEA Silver Award Star by winning 500 Silver points and completing all five Quests.”
