Qingyang (S2) is one of five girls and five boys that have been chosen to represent the Scotland Badminton Team at the U15 Quadrangular Team event taking place from 1st – 3rd October in Glasgow. This is a selection-only event, played between teams from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales.
Qingyang has already won three titles at the Scottish U13 National Junior Badminton Championships back in August, wining the girls’ Singles, Girls’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Qingyang’s doubles partner for the recent U13 Nationals was Ingrid (S1), who ranked 3rd in the singles for her age group.
Lingyun (S2) has also been selected to represent the U15 boys Scotland Badminton Team this October.
Games and sport pick up the pace in the Senior School, where there are many more options and opportunities to shine. Enthusiasts compete at regional, national and international levels, yet our aim is for pupils to discover sports and activities they genuinely enjoy.
