Congratulations to Lara (S2) and Tara (S5) who have each won a prize in the Anthea Bell Translation Competition.
The competition ran for the first time this summer, running across 4 different languages and covering all year groups at secondary school from ages 11 to 18.
Pupils were given a text to translate from the target Language into English where they could show off their flair and creativity. Only the top 5 entries were submitted for each level. The judges then selected winners for each level in 10 geographical areas and awarded 60 commendations throughout the UK.
