School fees for session 2025/26 are shown inclusive of 20% standard rate of VAT for P1-S6. School fees are payable either by one lump sum payment on or before 5 September or by 10 monthly instalments via Direct Debit.

Other fees, for example Wrap Around Care or Pipe Band, charges or invoiced amounts are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. Fee payers may also arrange for these amounts to be collected by Direct Debit, by arrangement with the school Finance Office.
Junior School curricular class trips are added to the fee note. All other activities and lunch account top-ups are payable via the school’s payment platform: ParentPay. VAT will be charged in accordance with legislation in place at the time. Where not otherwise referenced, VAT will be charged in addition to stated amounts where required.
Families joining the school from session 2018/19 onwards:
Where four or more children attend Heriot’s (Primary 1 – Senior 6) at the same time, a 25% reduction in fees applies for the fourth and subsequent children.
Families whose first child joined the school prior to session 2018/19:
A 25% reduction in fees will continue to apply for the third and subsequent children when three or more children attend Heriot’s (P1–S6) at once.
Nursery pupils are excluded from these calculations and do not qualify for fee remission.
