Heriot’s has a Junior School and a Senior School that operate side by side to form a single school community on one site. The structure of the senior management reflects this set-up.
Principal, Mr Gareth Warren, is responsible to the Board of Governors for the overall strategic leadership, development, and effective managements of both Junior and Senior Schools, in line with values and aims of Heriot’s.
The Head of Senior School, Mr Alastair Anderson, and Head of Junior School, Mrs Kirsten O’Hagan, have responsibility for the day-to-day running of their respective schools. They also promote each school’s ethos and development in line with the vision and strategy for Heriot’s as a whole.
The Principal leads the School Management Team for the whole school. Each school also has its own Leadership Team, led by the relevant Head of School.
