Heriot’s has a Junior School and a Senior School that operate side by side and together form a single school community on the one site. The structure of the senior management reflects this set-up.
Principal Mr Gareth Warren is responsible to the Board of Governors for the overall strategic leadership, development and effective management of both Junior and Senior Schools, in line with the Heriot’s values and aims.
The Head of Senior School, Mr Alastair Anderson, and Head of Junior School, Mr Alastair Morrison, have responsibility for the day-to-day running of their respective schools. They also promote each school’s ethos and development in line with the vision and strategy for Heriot’s as a whole.
The Principal leads the School Management Team for the whole school. Each school also has its own Leadership Team, led by the relevant Head of School.
