Former Pupils

50th Anniversary Reunion - Fifth and Sixth Year in 1965-66

Friday 3 June 2016

We were delighted to welcome back 43 Former Pupils who attended Heriot's in either Fifth or Sixth Year in 1965-66 to celebrate their 50th Anniversary Reunion. As well as making the trip back to Edinburgh from across the UK, FPs journeyed from as far afield as Canada, California and Australia to catch up with old friends and to see how their School has changed (and remained the same) in the half a century since they left. Many attending had not been back to Heriot's since leaving in 1966. The gentlemen enjoyed a tour of the School with the current Principal Cameron Wyllie followed by dinner in the Refectory. Sir Brian Langstaff - who was School Captain in 1966 - gave the toast to Heriot's.
