Rifle club
Shooting is held at the range, Heriot’s on Monday and Thursday evenings. Shooting times are 7:15 to 9:30pm.
This season we have entered 1 team in the Lothian Shoulder to Shoulder league and a second in the Home Guard league. The Home Guard league is a bit more relaxed so it allows us to give newer members a chance to see what competition shooting is like.
Anyone interested in joining the FP Rifle Club can pop along to any of these evenings or alternatively email Stewart Mackenzie. The Club has an assortment of equipment available for members to use on these evenings including rifles, scopes, jackets, slings etc and ammunition can be purchased at the range by arrangement with the committee. Regular competitions are held with local rifle clubs and members can also compete in postal competitions, or just come along to enjoy themselves!
