BUPA Great Edinburgh Run
Congratulations to everyone from the Heriot’s community who took part in the BUPA Great Edinburgh 10k Run, the BUPA Mini Great Run and the BUPA Junior Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday 2nd May. Some 200 pupils, parents, staff and friends put on their running shoes and the specially produced T-shirt to carry the Heriot’s name through the streets of Edinburgh in a public celebration of 350 years of the School and to raise funds for Alzheimer Scotland, the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation and the George Heriot’s Foundation. Members of the Pipe Band also turned out in force at the organisers’ invitation to play at the kilometre markers and give musical encouragement to the runners.
