P3 hold Ceilidh
P3 recently held their Ceilidh in the School Hall. The children had been learning their dances all year and did a fantastic job on the night. They danced the Gay Gordon’s, Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow, Military Two Step, St Bernard’s Waltz and the Canadian Barn Dance. All of P3 (and their parents) danced beautifully and there were a few tired feet at school the next day! Here are some of their thoughts of the evening:
“I danced with Mr Porteous and he was really funny because he kept saying ‘Woo, Woo’ while he was dancing. He was a cool dancer.” Joanna
“Lots of the girls were wearing lovely dresses and Marie and Catriona even had sparkly hair! Holly wore the loveliest dress I have ever seen!!!!” Euan
“Lots of the boys wore kilts and suits. Euan looked like a millionaire and Campbell looked like James Bond. Andrew looked very nice and I liked Cameron’s tie.” Theo
“The Dashing White Sergeant was my favourite. The boys looked very handsome in suits and kilts.” Philippa
“I liked dancing with my parents, it was great fun!” Laura
