Witch Silver by Anne Forbes
Recently, Discover Kelpies celebrated the launch of Anne Forbes' eagerly awaited fifth book in the Dragonfire series, "Witch Silver". The launch was held here at George Heriot's School in Edinburgh and the evening was a sell out with many children eager to meet the author herself.
The evening began with a welcome from the School and an introduction from Sally, the commissioning editor from Floris Publishing, after which the children were thrilled to hear Anne talking about her book. Two children, both of P5, read extracts from the book and then everyone had an opportunity to talk to the author and to have their books signed.
It was a super evening and the children are now all eagerly reading their new books.
