Congratulations to Benjamin Stenhouse (S4) for walking/jogging 350 times around the quadrangle on Friday for the Gary O’Donnell charity. It took him 4 hours and 25 minutes to complete the 35km and so far he has raised £232.25, a great achievement. WELL DONE BENJAMIN!!!
Register class 1M raised funds for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. The grand total collected was £376.28 after the sale of their hand made cards.
Register class 3.3 held a charity raffle in which Nina Rowson (S3) won an i-pod. They raised a total of £230.05 which is going to the Ectodermal Dysplasia Society.
Register class 3.6 held a cake and candy sale which raised £94.46 for the Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS)
At Senior School Assembly, Liverpool fan Mrs Hutton and Hibs fan Mr Lowe donned the kits of their greatest rivals, (Manchester United and Hearts respectively) in aid of Sport Relief. Pupils stumped up £300 to inflict “The Shirt of Hurt” on them!
