British Biology Olympiad
During February, ten S6 students took part in this prestigious competition which is particularly challenging for Scottish Students as the questions are based upon the English syllabus. Three candidates were Highly Commended, Cathy Lu, Claudia Trainer and Sandy Watt, while Julia Oh was Commended. This demonstrates an excellent general knowledge of Biology and suggests that, as well as being effective learners in the classroom, these students have regularly sourced their own material on a range of biological issues. Congratulations to all four of them!
