Primary 7 Rugby Triumph
On Wednesday afternoon, the JA1 rugby team defeated George Watson's College in the final of the Stewart's Melville 13-a-side competition. The final was a close run affair with a single conversion separating the two closely matched sides. One converted try was enough to seal a 4-3 victory for the Herioters.
The success was all the more enjoyable in light of the adversity that the team had come through, losing no less than five members of the original squad to injury. Of special note was the performance of team captain and top try scorer Finlay in P7K, who battled bravely through injury to inspire his team to victory.
