S1

S1 pupils in the Winter Term can choose from the following options:

• Rugby, Hockey, Cross Country

and in the Summer Term:

• Cricket, Tennis, Athletics, Rounders / Softball

S2

S2 pupils in the Winter Term can choose from the following options:

• Rugby, Hockey, Cross Country

and in the Summer Term:

• Cricket, Tennis, Athletics, Rounders / Softball, Sailing

S3

S3 pupils in the Winter Term can choose from the following options:

• Rugby, Hockey, Rowing, Cross Country

and in the Summer Term:

• Cricket, Tennis, Athletics, Rounders / Softball

S4-S6

S4-S6 pupils in the Winter Term can choose from the following options:

• Rugby, Hockey, Rowing, Cross Country, Badminton, Fencing, Outdoor Education

and in the Summer Term:

• Cricket, Tennis, Athletics, Outdoor Education, Rounders / Softball

There is also an extensive range of Extra-Curricular activities pupils can participate in.  Heriot's has had huge success in football and both boys and girls can play football from S1-S6, where there will be weekly practices and regular matches.  Football is put as an Extra-Curricular activity to allow pupils to participate in more than one major sport.
