Christian Union
Senior Christian Union meets on a weekly basis in the comfort of room 530. On Tuesday lunchtimes pupils can sit down with their lunch and a delicious selection of home baking. It is a time to meet their peers and a time to reflect on the lives they live. The programme varies from week to week but involves a time of discussion, a bible study or alternative spiritual challenge from God's word. Every month we welcome guests who come to challenge the pupils on their walk with God. We have welcomed back former pupils who have reported back on their gap year working with various organisations and Laura Wilgus the SU schools worker supports the group by visiting regularly, speaking to them, and encouraging them to attend SU camps.
The groups' main aim is to deepen relationships with each other whilst learning dependence on God. We aim to be centred on the needs of the pupils and try to encourage them on their faith journey.
